The drawing on the cover of my book was drawn by
my uncle, Tom Boese. The original is now in the Yale library and was drawn in 1791 by a Spanish artist named Thomas de
Suria. Thomas de Suria was a member of the Malaspina expedition to the Northwest coast, which started in 1790. It was
the first Spanish expedition that was not strictly for commercial purposes, and naturalists and artists accompanied the expedition
to document the flora and fauna along the coast of the Pacific Northwest
It is a drawing of a Native American from one of
the Tlinglit tribes that inhabited the Alaskan panhandle. Note the very heavy beard and wavy hair. In "California B.C.", I
document a number of descriptions made by the first European explorers to explore the West Coast, from California to the Alaskan
panhandle. These explorers and navigators described many Native American tribes as having blue eyes
and white skin! The men had beards! One has to ask when, and from whom, did these Native Americans aquire these
clearly Caucasian physical characteristics?

Were the ancient Egyptians in the Americas 3000 years ago? Did the Phoenicians
and their descendents, the Carthaginians, routinely sail commercial voyages between the Old and New Worlds? Were the ancient
Norsemen in North America before the time of Christ? For the first 100 years or so of America's history, the intellectuals
considered these to be viable possibilities. Since then the subject of pre-Columbian contact with the Old World has become
increasingly unpopular with mainstream scholars. For some time now the subject has been labled as "crackpot" archaeology.
Nevertheless, Numerous recent discoveries in diverse branches of science, have led
many respected scientists and scholars to conclude that there was indeed pre-Columbian contact with the Old World. Many scholars
are now debateing just how much contact there was. Spanish geneticists doing matrilineal DNA research on ancient Aztec remains
have concluded that 2 percent of the population were of European descent. After much controversy, other scholars now agree
the ancient Egyptians used two New World plants (tobacco and cocoa) in their embalming process.*
* Actually, I misunderstood the report, and it turns out that the Egyptians were ingesting
nicotine and cocaine. Both of which they obtained from the New World.
Ever since the first colonists arrived in North America, people have found stone
inscriptions that appear to be written in Old World alphabets. These inscriptions are often associated with enigmatic stone
structures that closely resemble those of the Old World. Many scholars and laypeople are currently documenting many of these
epigraphic discoveries. This book is the story of a man and his son who, with some help from a couple of other people, have
found some two dozen stone inscriptions or petroglyphs near their home in California. They have discovered a number of stone
structures that appear to have formed a religious temple complex. The inscriptions indicate that various Old World gods were
worshipped at these temples. the inscriptions are carved in easily documented ancient Mediterranean alphabets. What alphabets
are they? And what do the inscriptions say? Read the book.
DID YOU KNOW?

All of Chief Joseph's personal belongings were confiscated from him by the U.S. government when he was captured while
fleeing for Canada. His belongings are on permanent display at the West Point Museum in New York. The amazing thing is, that
among his belongings is a cuneiform tablet from ancient Sumeria. It is similar to the one pictured above and dates to around
2040 B.C.! In Feb. 1979, theSmithsonian Magazine published an article titled " Where did Chief Joseph get a cuneiform tablet?"

In the late 1950s a Bolivian
farmer found a stone bowl near Tiwanaku, Bolivia. It is now in a small museum in La Paz. It has 2 inscriptions on it, both
from the Old World. One is proto-Siniatic, and the other is early Sumerian cuneiform! Below is a photograph of the bowl that
is called "Fuente Magna"- The Rosetta Stone of the Americas.

Cuneiform in California
Believe it or not
In the spring of 2006, I was selling my book at
a local crafts and goods fair in Amador County, California. This is in the famous " Mother Lode" gold region of California.
An aquaitance of mine came by the booth and congradulated me one my book. As he was leaving, he turned around with a gleam
in his eye and said, "One of these days I'm going to come over to your house and blow your mind!" I replied, "I'll be waiting."
And I was. A couple of months later, he did just that.
It was early afternoon when my, nameless for now, friend came over with another,
nameless for now, gentleman. My aquaintance stat down at my dining room table with a small wooden box in his hands. He opened
the box and took out an object wrapped in paper-towels. He unwrapped a small gray, baked clay box, which was covered top,
bottom, and sides, with ancient cuneiform writing. On the bottom of the lid of the box is a faded but legible row of
figures. Inside the clay box was a perfect "pillow" tablet covered top, bottom, and sides, with cuneiform writing. The pillow
tablet looks very similar to the one pictured below.
